For this photo, I wanted to capture how nature can take over a building. This building, which is just a simple multiplex, has become interesting because of the vines that cover it. I wanted to show how the vines have taken over the building, leaving only the doorway untouched. The vines catch the light in different ways, some areas illuminated while others are dark. The bright blue awning creates a sharp contrast in a photo that is dominated by green. The awning is untouched by the vines, serving as a contrast between the built environment and nature as well.
